This famous neighbourhood of Barcelona is full of character and home to many lovely restaurants, intimate or lively bars and designer shops. The Born – in the heart of the Barrio Gotico - is one of the trendiest areas not only of this neighbourhood but of Barcelona as well. Its narrow streets are bursting with chic restaurants, bars and cool boutiques - like the famous designers 'Custo Barcelona'. The spine of the Gotico is the popular boulevard Las Ramblas and its unique charm full of street artists, tourists, bars, restaurants and flowers shops. Another famous and lively street is Via Laietana – both, Las Ramblas and Via Laietana have Plaza Cataluña (Plaça Catalunya in Catalan) at the top and the port at the bottom.
